Proactive Acne Treatment

There are quite a few proactive acne treatment measures that you can take to help your condition. Here are some which you may find helpful.

1 : Keep the affected area clean, but do not wash the skin more than twice a day (preferably just once at the end of the day if you are not wearing make-up). Excessive skin washing may actually precipitate acne.

2 : There is no reason not to wear make-up provided that you remove all traces of it at the end of each day. Choose a light cleanser, preferably a lotion, unperfumed if your skin is sensitive. Follow up with a mild toner (too much alcohol in a toner may cause irritation and drying) preferably lightly medicated (antiseptic).

3 : Ointments, creams, lotions and gels can help in your proactive acne treatment but can cause irritation because their action is normally abrasive or peeling to prevent blockage of the sebaceous glands. The types which have been found to be most effective contain benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or retinoic acid (vitamin A). One of the most effective acne treatments on the market today is Acnezine which is an all-natural and scientifically formulated way  to treat acne from the inside-out. This product is highly recommended and ships worldwide. For more details  Click Here .

4 : There is no very good evidence that diet affects acne. Some individuals, however, are adversely affected by some foods such as chocolate. Experiment for yourself as part of your proactive acne treatment.

5 : Natural ultraviolet light usually benefits acne sufferers as acne is usually better in summer. Sunray lamps may be helpful but should be used carefully, with exposure time being built up gradually. The dangers of over exposure to ultraviolet light should not be forgotten. The required effect is mild peeling but definately not burning. Too much sunlight can be bad for the skin.

6 : Synthetic hormones, usually in the form of the contaceptive pill, can be used. The female hormone oestrogen in the combined pill can reduce sebum production. Anti-androgens are a newish hormone treatment which can be helpful is resisting acne. The anti-androgen, cyproterone acetate, is combined with oestrogen in a pill which is both an anti acne and a contraceptive pill.

7 : Dermabrasion and chemical peeling can be used to remove scarring as a result of severe acne which is no longer active. Dermabrasion is used in selected cases, chemical peeling particularly for pitted and ice pick scars. Rarely, severe scars can be excised and collagen injections can be used to plump up depressions left after acne has gone.

Proactive acne treatment can and will help you to control acne but help is needed in the form of other treatments. The best acne treatment we have found is Acuzine. Acuzine is a pure natural product that comes with a 100% money back guarantee. What have you got to lose....except your acne! You can read more by clicking on the banner below.
